Welcome to Prosefly

A collaborative workspace for content that belongs in Git.

Prosefly gives writers and developers a shared workspace for their Git-powered websites. Edit Markdown and MDX, work together, and publish the reviewed files to your GitHub repository.

Where your content lives

Published content lives in your own Git repository. It remains available as ordinary files, alongside your website’s source code. Prosefly stores your unpublished drafts and collaboration state in the workspace. Saving a draft never commits to Git.

Uploaded images, audio, and video are managed separately and referenced by URL. A repository is the source of published text content, not a backup of every workspace setting or uploaded media object.

Find your next step

  • Getting started: create an organization, connect GitHub, and open your first Space.
  • Connect GitHub: follow the illustrated authorization, repository selection, and scanning steps.
  • Content ownership: understand files, drafts, and media.
  • Editing: work visually, edit source, and manage properties.
  • Publishing: review a diff and publish a commit or pull request.

Your existing website stays yours

Prosefly does not replace your website framework or its build pipeline. It publishes content changes to Git. Your existing build process is responsible for turning those changes into website updates.
