Your organization
Troubleshooting
Resolve common connection, editing, and publishing problems.
My repository is missing
Check that your GitHub account is linked, the GitHub App is installed for the repository owner, and the installation grants access to that repository. For an organization installation, its owner may need to approve permissions. Return to Repositories and reconnect after correcting access.
A Git change is not visible
Run a repository scan and wait for indexing to finish. Prosefly uses explicit scans rather than automatic GitHub webhook synchronization. Check that you scanned the expected target branch.
A Space is archived
Disconnecting a repository archives its Spaces. Reconnect the repository, then have an owner or admin reactivate the required Spaces. Reactivation checks your active Space capacity.
A document will not open visually
Open Source and inspect the complete file. Invalid frontmatter or unsupported MDX can prevent a visual view. The editor does not execute arbitrary repository components. Correct the source, then check the save status.
Publishing is blocked
Check the review for conflicts or validation errors. Confirm the GitHub App’s write permissions, Space publication mode, target branch protections, your organization role, and active entitlement. Compare the current Git content with your draft if the base changed.
My website has not changed after publication
Follow the GitHub link in publish history. If it is a PR, confirm it was merged. Check your website’s build status and configured deployment branch. Publishing content to Git does not itself run a deployment.
An upload fails or analytics is empty
Check file validation and available quota in Billing. Retry after checking the upload’s state. Audio/video analytics requires live integration configuration; a missing report does not establish that a file was never played.
When reporting a problem through your usual support channel, include the action, visible error, and relevant repository or file path. Do not include credentials or private content you do not intend to share.
